🌄 Rising Together: Hope Lives Here
A Community Recovery Series by partners and friends of OCARE. The Owsley County Fiscal Court, City of Booneville, Farmers State Bank, Owsley County Hub, Kentucky River District Health Department, Holy Family Catholic Church, Willie's Copper Top, Booneville City Police, Dr. Tim Bobrowski, and Partners for Rural Impact and supported by Brushy Fork Institute.
Every day in Eastern Kentucky, someone is fighting a battle they didn’t choose. Someone is trying to rebuild. Someone is searching for hope, for direction, for a hand that says, “You don’t have to do this alone.”
Rising Together is our new community video series — a place where real stories, real resources, and real hope come together. Because recovery isn’t just possible. It’s happening. Right here. Right now.
Each episode will shine a light on:
-
People who have overcome
-
Families who found support
-
Local programs that change lives
-
Ways our community can stand beside those in recovery
-
Simple ways you can help someone rise again
This series is more than awareness. It’s an invitation.
Owsley County is stronger when we show up for one another — and there are neighbors who need exactly what you have to give: time, compassion, encouragement, presence.
If you’ve ever wondered how to make a difference… If you’ve ever wished you could help someone find their way back… If you believe our community deserves healing and hope…
Join us. Volunteer. Share the videos. Be part of the rising.
Because when one person rises, we rise together.
