Text Owsley County Alliance for Recreation and Entertainment is seeking Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified contractors for the Seale Theater located in Booneville, Kentucky. Contractors must abide by the Lead Management Plan (created by Linebach-Funkhauser) for the Seale Theater Project as well as the Kentucky (Building) Davis Bacon Wage and Payroll Requirements for the project.

Proposals are due on or before March 21, 2024 no later than 5:00 p.m. Packages should be clearly marked Seale Theater Drywall and Painting Project Bid Packet and addressed to the Attention of Sue Christian, Director.  Any proposals received later than the submission deadline will not be accepted or considered.

All RFPs will be evaluated in terms of project approach, timing, experience, quality of work, and capacity of performance. Past performances on similar projects will be assessed in terms of timeliness, completing work within budget, quality of work and other factors. After careful review and consideration, the Owsley County Alliance for Recreation and Entertainment will select the best-suited firm(s) for the services described in this RFP package.

NOTE: 

2.3  Liquid Coating Requirements   

The liquid coatings must meet one of theAmerican Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) standards for liquid coating encapsulants:

 

• E 1975-04 – Standard Specification for Non-Reinforced Liquid Coating Encapsulation Products for Leaded Paint in Buildings.

• E 1797-04 – Standard Specification for Reinforced Liquid Coating Encapsulation Products for Leaded Paint in Buildings.

 

Any contractor who is awarded the contract must provide proof of liability insurance and workers’ compensation for their employees if awarded this bid.
